She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Whalley and Irene Whalley (Limner); and her sibling John E. Whalley. She is survived by: her spouse Robert F. Holden; her children, Robert F. Holden of Springfield, VA, Stephen F. Holden of Coventry, John E. Holden of Astoria and Christina Holden-Shea of Charlestown; and her sibling Madelyn Moran. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
