She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin H. Sherman; her parents, Arthur Bernier and Laura Bernier (Bibeault); and her children, Elaine Sypniewski and Daniel Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Sherman, Susan Watson, Dennis Sherman, David Sherman and Pamela Sherman; and her pet Sparky. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, eight great- great grandchildren.
