He was predeceased by: his wife Philomena Mello (Iannitelli); his parents, Antonio Mello and Mary Mello (Smeals); and his sister Mary Ferreira-Levine. He is survived by: his sons, Antonio M. Mello (June), Ernest Mello, Kevin Mello and Michael Mello (Karen); his grandchildren, Lori Silva, Nathan Mello, Jason Mello, Shannon Mello, Jason Galli and Dillon Pinho; his great grandchildren, Danny Leander, Jacob Leander, Shailey Mello, Ashton M. Silva, Ashton Galli and Lucas Galli; and his goddaughter Patricia Ferreira. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
