She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Pontus; her parents, Manuel Junior and Florence Junior (Cunha); her daughter Cheryl A. Dunton; and her siblings, Phillip Junior, Mary Alice O'Connell and Larry Junior.

She is survived by: her children, Manuel Murray (Anne) of Coventry, Martha Murray Furtado (George) of Warwick, Patricia Potter (Doug Frageorgia) of West Warwick and Jerrie Ann Bombardier (Steve Ouellette) of North Stonington, CT; and her son-in-law David Dunton of West Warwick. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
