He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Markman and Helen Markman (Murwitz); and his sister Gertrude Katz. He is survived by: his wife Catherine E. Markman (Close); his daughters, Christine E. Brodeur (Todd) of Richmond and Laura E. Dias (Dave) of Coventry; his grandchildren, Kait Brodeur, Jocelyn Johnson, Emily Taylor (Jeff), Gabby Dias and Zack Brodeur; his great grandchild Olivia Johnson; and his brother Charles Markman.
