William Salus Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate William Salus of Warwick, Rhode Island, born in Newark, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on March 20, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Salus and Cecelia Salus; and his sisters, Pat Cordasco and Cecelia Nastvogel. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Gloria Silvia (Ernie) of Narragansett, RI and Billy Salus (Cynthia) of Clinton, NJ; his grandchildren, Marissa Silvia and Chad Silvia (Ariana Gonzalez); his sister Jeanie Kent; and his godson Ray Hartmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home (142 Centerville Rd, Warwick, RI 02886). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (445 Washington St, Coventry, RI 02816).
