It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William M. Burns (Warwick, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burns and Evelyn Burns (Nickerson); and his siblings, John, Robert Burns, Jean Carbone, Joan Conley, Mary Barrett and Evelyn Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Burns (Mercurio); his daughters, Laurie J. Sliney (Dave), Dr. Kathy B. Ewoldt (Matt) and Jennifer M. Flynn (Andy); his grandchildren, Mary, Kyle (Ann), Kira, Michael, Steven (Amber) and Krissy; his great grandchild Madison; and his siblings, Raymond Burns, Michael Burns, Thomas Burns and Jean Geiger (Burns).
