He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Girard and Blanche Girard (Cotnoir); and his siblings, Alphonse Girard and Lillian Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Girard (Leclerc); his children, Raymond A. Girard, Denise L. Michaud and Kevin E. Girard; and his brother Armand Girard. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
