She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Tyler and Gertrude A. Dufresne; and her sisters, Kathleen Gregoire and Patricia Levesque. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. LaPorte; her children, Raymond T. McKay, Robin F. Pimentel (Joseph) and Ronnee M. Deelsnyder; her grandchildren, Christopher, Veronica, Dakota, Noah, Emily, Samuel, Kamie-Rae, Thomas and Jason; and her godson Andrew Gregoire. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
