She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin A. Carpenter; her mother Joan E. Anderson (Sheriden); and her sister Joni Anderson. She is survived by: her father William A. Anderson; her stepmother Sandra Anderson (Hurst); her sons, Anthony J. Hoyle (Tammy) and Christopher M. Hoyle; her grandchildren, Matthew, Evan, Sean and CJ Hoyle; her siblings, Frederick Hoyle, Karen Aquilante (Tony), William Anderson Jr. (Joan), James Anderson (Diane), Chuck Finlay (Annette) and Desiree Myers (Samuel); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kimberly Parker, Jessica Williams, Joan Hoyle, Tanisha Sampson, Amy Cuellar, Lisa Hoyle, Alex Anderson, Bryan Anderson, David Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Michael Anderson, James Anderson Jr., William Anderson III, Frederick Ellis and William Rodrigues.
