He was predeceased by: his son Peter Jr.; and his parents, Sulo Jussila and Bertha Jussila (Finneran). He is survived by: his wife Lorita Jussila (Fiorino); his sons, Joseph (Diana) and Paul; his grandsons, Andrew and Noah; his brothers, Bruce (Marianne) and Bill (Janet); and also Kathleen "Kate" Jussila (McDonnell). He is also survived by uncle to his nieces and nephews.
