She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smith and Mildred Smith (Gillespie); her son Jonathan L Dean; and her sister Velvin Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd F. Dean; her daughters, Judith Dean of Medford, MA and Janice S. Kinder (Samuel) of Portsmouth, RI.; her grandchildren, Eowyn Dean of Rotterdam, Netherlands, Elizabeth Kinder (Zura Grdzelishvili) of Medford, MA, Charlotte Ricci (Ben) of Warwick, RI and James Kinder of Portsmouth, RI; her great grandchild Elena Ricci; and her brother Rev. Donald Smith of Braintree, MA.
