It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merilee Joy Hanley of Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her significant other Henry A. "Cootsie" Padula, Jr.; and her father Thomas G. Hanley. She is survived by: her mother Joyce E. Hanley (Alarie) of Warwick; her sisters, Kimberly J. Caravana (Stephen) of North Dartmouth, MA, Sandra L. Hanley-Stansfield (Brian Moses) of East Greenwich, Sally A. Hanley-Whitworth of Oviedo, FL and Ashley M. Hanley of Warwick; and her nieces and nephews, Stephen Jr., Sean Caravana, Thomas, Anna Stansfield, Brendan and Austin Whitworth.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Kevin Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Merilee's name to St. Kevin's Church would be appreciated.
