She was predeceased by: her husband James R. McGowan; her daughters, Ellen Slattery and Ann "Nancy" McGowan; and her siblings, John Nash, Barbara Hosdson and Dorothy Dowding.
She is survived by: her children, Maura McQueeney (Mike Stehney), Judy Romano, Paul McGowan (Patricia "Pritz"), Matthew McGowan (Annie) and Jean Wolf (Drew); and her son-in-law Chip Slattery. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
