With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret T. Benevides of Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Benevides; her parents, Michael Higgins and Catherine Higgins (Canning); her daughter Toni Lynn Benevides; and her sisters, Catherine Canning and Joan Regnier.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Odowd (Rick), Linda Boccanfuso (Dennis), Donna Soares (Bob), Michael Benevides (Robin) and Allen Benevides (Linda); her sisters, Mary Field and Eleanor Coppa; her grandchildren, Michael Boccanfuso, Michaela Benevides, Casey Soares, John Soares, Brianna Benevides, Allen Benevides, Anthony Benevides, Adam Monteiro, Justin Monteiro, Jayla Monteiro, Allaire Allen, Ella-Grace Allen and Matthew Allen; and her great grandchildren, Dominic Boccanfuso, Rocco Boccanfuso, Julian Monteiro and Abram Monteiro.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rita's Church (722 Oakland Beach Ave, Warwick, RI 02889).
