He is survived by: his sister Margaret LaPorte (Alfred Jr.); his nephew Alfred LaPorte III (Paula); and his niece Christine Arsenault (Bruce). He is also survived by 5 great-nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great Nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
