She was predeceased by: her parents, N. James Conway and Vera Conway (Pace); her husband James "Pete" Cooney; and her siblings, Dorothy Dolan, Robert Conway, Gordon Conway and James Conway.
She is survived by: her children, James F. Cooney III (Lisa) of Marshfield Hills, MA and Kathleen A. Cooney (Mark A. Langley); her grandchildren, Samuel James Cooney and Molly Margaret Cooney; her sister Edna Cavagnaro; and her nieces and nephews, Patricia, Charles "Chris" Mathewson, Sharon and Arthur Muldowney. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A reception was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
