He was predeceased by: his wife Doris H. Thompson (Wanamaker); his parents, Teman Thompson and Tilley Thompson (Huseby); and his siblings, Clarice Larsen, Merlin Thompson, Earl Thompson, Harold Thompson, Tilman Thompson, Janet Schlender and Ida Schantell.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah H. Bacani (Ricardo), Diane L. Barber (Robert) and David O. Thompson; his grandchildren, Tai, Allison, Brandon, Cameron, Mason, Michael, Evan, Chantelle, Julia, Bean, Phineas, Ophelia and Phoenix; and his sister Eleanor Weed.
