He was predeceased by: his wife Marie C. Dietlin (Prior); his parents, Joseph Dietlin and Carrie Dietlin (Fields); his stepson Richard E. Jencks; and his siblings, Dorothy Field, Francis Dietlin and Donald Dietlin.
He is survived by: his children, Jeral W. Dietlin, Jr. (Roseanna), Stephen A. Dietlin, Diane R. Pellegrino (Richard), Lori A. Waldeck, William J. Dietlin and Robin M. Kazanjian; and his stepchildren, Thomas E. Jencks, TinaMarie E. Jencks and David A. Jencks. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
