He is survived by: his wife Diane Howkins of Marco Island, FL; his children, Kelsey Coombes, Jessica Howkins of Naples, FL and Mitchell Howkins of Warwick, RI; his parent Barbara Howkins of East Providence, RI; and his sister Donna Long of East Providence, RI.. He is also survived by husband and wife, but life-long friends.
