It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet R. Whitney (Warwick, Rhode Island), born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold George Crawford and Eleanor Andersen (Leister); and her brother Arnold George Crawford Andersen, Jr. (Shirley). She is survived by: her children, Tedd Whitney (Robin), Bonnie Bisignano (Ron Moniz) and Julie Roberts (Tommy Salvato); her grandchildren, Amber (Kevin), Kyle (Kiara), Alex, Noelle, Chace and Dylan; and her siblings, Bettie Edmonston (late David), Robert Andersen (Elaine) and James Andersen (Carol).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make a donation in Janet's name to the RI Hospital Cancer Institute.
