She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edgar James and Ivy May Bowser (Greenwood); her son Dennis Lee Allen; her grandchildren, Dr. Scott Allen, Cheryl Allen, Michele Allen Scalzo (Peter), Wendy Sylvia Scalzo (Frank) and Charles Lury; her stepgranddaughter Kathi Hotalen Flanagan (Michael); her great grandchildren, Jake Newberry, Matthew Scalzo, Christopher Scalzo, Katheryn Scalzo, Sydney Allen, Abigail Scalzo, Frank Scalzo Jr. and Gabrielle Scalzo; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Katelyn Flanagan and Riley Medeiros; her great great grandchildren, Aria Anthony, Adam Anthony, Mason Burgos and Mia Burgos; her husband Harry Robert Allen; her daughter Cynthia Allen Sylvia Lury; and her brother Edgar James Bowser Jr.. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it was June's wish that any memorial tributes be considered in the form of a charitable donation in her memory to Calvary Baptist Church, 747 Broad St, Providence RI 02907.
