He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard P. Goyette and Elizabeth C. Goyette (Meehan). He is survived by: his wife Joan Goyette (Fitzpatrick); his daughter Katherine (David Harrington); his granddaughters, Anna and Claire; and his siblings, Marie Fox (Joseph) of South Kingstown and Peter Goyette of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
