He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn McDonald (Greaney); his parents, Gerald F. McDonald, Sr. and Anastasia McDonald (Hession); and his brother Richard McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Tim McDonald (Elizabeth Gordon) of Wilmington, Patricia Boucher (Brian) of Warwick, RI and David McDonald (Kate) of Glastonbury, CT.; his grandchildren, Grampy, Allyson Boucher, Nicole Boucher, Ellie McDonald and Evan McDonald; and his brothers, Robert McDonald and William McDonald.
