As George departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Wiebe and Gwendolyn J. Ver Wiebe (Huse). He is survived by: his sister Magery J. Balkcom (Joseph); his goddaughter Lisa Cooney (Matt); and his brother Donald VerWiebe (Sarah).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Pawtuxet Memorial Park (100 Harrison Ave, Warwick, RI 02888).
