He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal H. Burford and Bessie E. Burford (Snapp); his son Frank R. Burford, Jr.; and his siblings, Fred Burford, Jo Diane Burford and Carol Lee Gilliard.
He is survived by: his wife Elena C. Burford (Rainone); his son Steven A. Burford (John Scharfenberg); his children-in-law, Nancy Burford and Grampa'; and his great grandchildren, Madison and William Burke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Kevin Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889).
