She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas H. Horton; her parents, Wilfred White and Eva E. White (Slocum); her daughter Anne M. Carrier; and her brother Wilfred.

She is survived by: her children, Diane L. O'Brien of Warwick, Debra Nesbit of Burlington, NC, Thomas E. Horton of Warwick, Michael D. Horton of Warwick, Donna Horton of Warwick and Denise Grant of Warwick; and her siblings, Dorothy Carvalho of Warwick, Joseph, Frank, Arthur, Thomas, Richard, James White and Amie Amison. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
