He is survived by: his children, Sharon A. Dansereau (late Gary), Alan J. Root (Susan), Karen J. Gousie (Michael) and Joanne Monahan (James); his grandchildren, Heather, Melanie, David, Meredith, Rachel, Camren and Riley; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Ashlyn, Benjamin, Luke, Ares, Reyna and Zachary; and his siblings, Marjorie Albonico, Robert and Richard Root.
