She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Potter Brierley; and her parents, Glenn Gilbert and Iola Gilbert (Slicer). She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Brierley (Joanne), Deborah G. Nagle (Richard), Cindy A. Poirier and Lisa J. Doire; her son-in-law Michael J. Poirier; her grandchildren, Jonathan Brierley, Julie Wilks (Loren), Lauren Brierley (Daniel Fournier), R. Sean Nagle (Emma Shoemaker), Donald Poirier, Stephen Poirier, Benjamin Poirier (Chloe Burke), Kaitlin Pupo (Brandon) and Lance Doire; and her great grandchild Eleanora Wilks. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fagan Quinn Funeral Home (825 Boston Neck Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of East Greenwich (1558 S County Trail, East Greenwich, RI 02818). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
