With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin McKay (Warwick, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth L. McKay (Sheahan); his parents, Raymond McKay and Bertha McKay (Jameson); and his siblings, Barbara Neirinckx, Raymond McKay and Robert McKay.
He is survived by: his pets, Rufus, Chloe and Boston Red Sox; his wife Betty; his children, Lisa A. Franchetti (Anthony) of Warwick, RI, Susan Emerson (Sean) of Broad Brook, CT and Dr. Shawn McKay (Janet) of Florence, SC; his grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Charlie, Megan and Sam; and his brothers, Frederick McKay of Attleboro, MA and James McKay of Hudson, FL.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, former neighbors, and coworkers.
