He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thomas and Loretta Thomas (Frazier); his grandchild Kelsey; and his sister Carolyn Lackey. He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia A. Knapton (Brown); his children, Brenda Thomas (Patrick), Lori Thomas, Edward Thomas, Jr. (Natalie) and Simeon Thomas (Cari); his grandchildren, Ryan, Kala, Nicole, Andrew, David, Jeremy, Corey, Emma, Hayley, Ian, Jaden, Noah and Rowan; and his brother Paul Thomas (Carol). He is also survived by seven loving great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
