He was predeceased by: his spouse Claire Benison Riggs; his parents, William J. Riggs and Helen Riggs (Dailey); and his sisters, Joan Kennedy and Betty Malley.
He is survived by: his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Kristen; his granddaughter Ashlyn; and his brother William Riggs.
