He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lou-Ann K. LaPorte (Potter); his parents, George LaPorte and Ida LaPorte (Gendreau); his children, Diane Palazzo, Deborah Bowling-Morrow (Glenn), Joseph LaPorte, David LaPorte, Kenneth LaPorte (Renee) and Donna Munroe (Richard); his stepdaughter Kristine Harrington (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Liam, Miles and Zelda.
