He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie G. Canning (Savastano); his parents, Frederick J. and Beatrice F. Canning (Fisher); his children, Patricia McGowan (James) of Warwick, Michael Canning (Gail) of Warwick and Paul Canning (Michelle) of Warwick; and his siblings, Gail Chace of Warwick, John Canning of Smithfield, Frederick Canning and Francis Canning. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
