He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel D. McLaughlin (Fuller); his parents, Charles A. McLaughlin, Sr. and Adeline McLaughlin (Hammond); and his sister Florence Halliday. He is survived by: his children, Donna R. McLaughlin and David C. McLaughlin; his siblings, William, James, Thomas, Robert, Stephen McLaughlin, Joan Cavanaugh, Mary Kinsey and Arline Oakley; his grandson Aaron S. Itchkawich; and his sister Veronica Olson.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory to Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Ave, Warwick RI 02889 will be appreciated.
