She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard James Downey and Edith Maybell Downey (Whiting); her husband William C. Bremner; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Bette" LaHotan, Margaret "Peggy" Heenan and James Downey.

She is survived by: her children, Alex and Patricia Neri (Michael); and her friend Mary Manchester. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
