She was predeceased by: her husband Charles S. Sample; her former husband Edward L. Walsh, Sr.; her parents, Raymond Bessette and Louise Bessette (Clough); her son Edward L. Walsh, Jr.; her grandson Alexander Jenkins; and her brother Donald J. Bessette.
She is survived by: her brother Raymond B. Bessette (Kathy Bessette) of Pawucket, RI.; her children, Mary-Ellen Jenkins (Raleigh), Christine Iadevaia (Michael), Larry Sample (Jen Charleson) of Barrington, RI and Chuck Sample of Warwick, RI.; her daughters-in-law, Karen Emma and Tracy Walsh; her grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, Amanda, Cole, Cameron, Tyler and Eddie; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Wyatt, Finleigh, Ocean and Quincy.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kevin Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889). A committal service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
