The memory of Ann D. McCaffrey (Warwick, Rhode Island), who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her spouses, Eugene J. McCaffrey, Jr. and Mayor of Warwick; her parents, F. Sheldon Davis and Gertrude Davis (Barrett); and her sister Gertrude C. Audet.
She is survived by: her children, Mary E. McCaffrey and Michael J. McCaffrey; her daughter-in-law Deirdre; her son John T. McCaffrey; and her sister Elizabeth D. Alfonso of North Kingstown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Kevin Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Volunteers of Warwick Schools, 40 Asylum Rd., Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
