He was predeceased by: his grandson Owen Zimmer; and his parents, Albert R. Meyer and Sophie Meyer (Nesturrick). He is survived by: his spouse Harolyn Meyer (Meklin); his daughter Amanda Zimmer; and his granddaughter Annabelle.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (1558 S County Trail, East Greenwich, RI 02818). During the pandemic, his expertise in optimizing the church's audio and visual systems ensured that congregants could stay connected and engaged with services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the United Methodist Church in East Greenwich.
