He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lapre and Eliza Lapre (Benjamin); his wife Aurore D. Lapre (Trudel); his son Roland L. Lapre Jr.; his siblings, Alfred Lapre Jr., Robert Lapre, Edward Lapre and Corinne Lawrence; and his daughter-in-law Josephine M. Lapre.
He is survived by: his children, David R. Lapre of Warren, RI and Nancy Rego (Jay) of Warren, RI; his grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Ryan Lapre, Christopher Lapre, Stephanie Coffland, John, Eliza and Aimee Rego; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Lapre. He is also survived by his four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Jul Funeral Service (8 Schoolhouse Rd, Warren, RI 02885). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Bay Parish (645 Main St, Warren, RI 02885). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery (324 Main St, Warren, RI 02885).
