She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio S. Morais; her parents, Martin and Carmo Arruda (Reis); her son Paul Morais; and her sister Alda Borges.

She is survived by: her children, Jorge Morais (Martha) of Rumford, Goretti Sousa (Joe) of Warren, Esmeralda Simao (Eduardo) of Warren, Peter Morais (Theresa) of Fall River and Helen Cunha (Joe) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Christine (Cliff), Nelson, Cathy, Eric (Nicole), Brandon, Alison and Gunnar; her great grandchildren, Mason, Leah and Jayden; and her brother Duarte Arruda of Dartmouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
