She was predeceased by: her parents, Andre Sousa and Rose Sousa (Raposo); and her sibling Albertina Nunez. She is survived by: her husband Jose Faria Arruda; her daughters, Elaine Arruda of Marblehead, MA, Natalie Ficorilli (Joseph Curcuruto) of Warwick, Lillian Costello (Patrick) of Seekonk and Tammy Borges (Roy) of Warren; her granddaughters, Lauren Leonardo and Meghan E. Borges of Chestnut Hill, MA; and her siblings, Manuel Sousa (Diane) of East Providence, Adrianna Dion and Mary LaFlamme. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
