He is survived by: his pets, Bella Rae and Comet; his children, Denise Cotta-Fontana (Luigi Fontana) of Bristol and Michael J. Cotta Sr. (Mary-Ellen Golda); his grandchildren, Christina M. Fontana and Michael J. Cotta Jr of Bristol; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph Charleson and Jessica Sylvia; and his sisters, Lorraine Dalesio of Warren and Joan Swist of Warren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
