He was predeceased by: his parents, John Souza and Olivia Souza (Viera). He is survived by: his sisters, Marjie Rossi (Raymond) and Nancy Marshall (Kenneth); his siblings-in-law, Richard Ferrara (Nancy), Nicholas Ferrara (Jennifer), Michael Ferrara (Nicole) and Rebecca Gordon (Thomas); his children, Dorianne Opielawski (Glenn), David A. Girard II and Melissa Keyser (Christian); and his grandchildren, Tessa, David III, Khloe Lee, Karissa, Nicholas and Bryce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
