It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Sousa of Warren, Rhode Island, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David B. Sousa; her parents, Alfred Gagnon and Rose Gagnon (Breault); and her sister Pauline Carey. She is survived by: her pet Peggy Sue; her daughters, Robin Whalen of Warren, RI and Kristy Leveillee of Providence, RI; her grandchildren, Thomas Whalen of Westport, MA and Max Leveillee of Cumberland, RI.; and her sisters, Patricia Lapierre and Lorraine Barba.
