It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Ellen Damaso of Warren, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mattes and Edna Mattes (Tell); and her brother William P. Mattes. She is survived by: her husband Frank J. Damaso; her children, Brian P. Damaso of Warren, RI and Lisa Cabral (Fred) of Bristol, RI; her grandchildren, Ethan of Bristol, RI., Emily of Bristol, RI. and Evan Cabral of Bristol, RI.; her siblings-in-law, Richard, Diane Damaso of Acushnet, MA and John Damaso of Middleboro, MA.; her nephews, Brad Mattes (Carrie) of West Gardiner, ME, Kirk Mattes (Jeri) of Warwick, RI and Michael Damaso of New Bedford, MA; and her niece Jill Carter (Sean) of Encinitas, CA. She is also survived by three great nephews, and one great niece.
