He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian A. McCabe (Bliss); his son Bob McCabe; and his siblings, Francis McCabe, Matthew McCabe and Rose Rougeaux.

He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Hawk; and his children, Mike McCabe (Kate Broderick) and Carol Rabideau (Bill). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
