He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine McElroy (Sousa); his son Jayden McElroy; his brothers, Robert McElroy, III of Warren and William McElroy of Tiverton; his stepsiblings, Sean Alegria of Bristol and Kristin Alegria of Warren; his grandmother Mary McElroy of Florida; and his parents-in-law, Jose and Maria Sousa of Warren. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
