He was predeceased by: his parents, Anders Andersen and Allie Andersen (Henriksen); and his brother David V. Andersen. He is survived by: his wife Edith Andersen (Whitehead); his children, Kristen A. Smith (Howell) of Seekonk, Karen A. Andersen (John Edge) of Bristol, Kurt W. Andersen (Patti) of Bristol and Kim E. Andersen (William Beebe) of Warren; and his sibling Helge "Andy" V. Andersen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
