Elizabeth Freethy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Freethy of Warren, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Freethy and Catherine B. Freethy (LaFontaine); and her husband Anthony J. Palazzo of Bristol, RI.. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen Palazzo (Michael Berkowitz) of Great Barrington, MA and Gina Palazzo (Michael Kotarba) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandson Oliver Berkowitz; and her sister Cathy Jurkowski. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
The women in Elizabeth's family have all lived to be in their 90's, or even older, surviving the flu pandemic of 1918, breast cancer, and other challenges.
